Course structure

For the first year of the course, the basic studies are fixed and determine the schedule, in the second year students have a certain freedom of options and in the third year select a particular aspect for individual in depth study.

The course can be concluded in three years of full-time studies. A longer period of part-time studies (e.g. as a working student) is also possible. It is advisable to discuss this with the Director of Studies abzusprechen. After the first three semesters, students have more flexibility in completing the various elements of the course, although some parts require previous attendance at other lectures.

Das erste Studienjahr beinhaltet die Grundlagenfächer I. Das zweite Studienjahr umfasst die Grundlagenfächer II, die disziplinären Ergänzungsfächer sowie den obligatorischen Teil des geistes und sozialwissenschaftlichen Moduls. Das dritte Studienjahr besteht aus Lehrveranstaltungen der Systemvertiefung, des wählbaren Teils des sozial- und geisteswissenschaftlichen Moduls sowie der naturwissenschaftlichen und technischen Wahlfächer.
