You will document your work experience in a report. The target readers outside the company are the students of subsequent years, lecturers, and the practical advisor. It should be a formal report, well written and thorough.

There are two parts to the report:

  1. Professional report(s): this report is compiled on behalf of the company. It can be a completed report, parts of reports, documents, brochures, etc.
  2. Personal report: in this report you document your work, the company and your experiences e.g. how you used your theoretical knowledge in practice. (You can find detailed information in the Guidelines (PDF 80 kB) for preparing a personal report on your work experience and sample front page (PDF 40 kB).

If the professional report, or parts of it, contains sensitive information discuss this with the company and only submit the professional report to the lecturer. In this case you have to describe your work in detail in the personal report.
