Which type of environmental issues would you like to learn about? Would you like to try out some visions about your future working life? Perhaps you would like to gain some insight in a topic in which you don’t necessarily want a longer employment? Or you are looking for a placement in a specific part in Switzerland or abroad?

You will find the following information about the work experience:

Look for your placement in early. There is no “ideal” time to apply and companies all have different requirements (see notes in employment register). There is a tendency for federal or provincial administrations to want early applications while engineering offices tend to be more short-term.

You can, for example, enquire by telephone or email whether it is worth applying. If the company is interested, a meeting can be arranged or a written application submitted. Take the opportunity to write a full and comprehensive application with accompanying letter and curriculum.

Information on the Master course and leaflets on work experience can be obtained on the web.

When you find a placement in a company not mentioned in the Work Experience Employment Register, you should inform the practical advisor.
