The ETH Research Station for Plant Sciences Lindau-Eschikon belongs to the Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAS). It offers to its users the opportunity to conduct experiments in modern greenhouses facilities, in growth chambers and in the field.

Chamau, Früebüel and Alp Weissenstein

The three ETH Research Stations Chamau, Früebüel and Alp Weissenstein are combined since 1989 in one concept. The aim of this concept is the efficient use of the resources of all research stations and to ensure access for all disciplines participating in the field of "Environment and Natural Resources". With the formation of the new department in 2012 the research stations were placed under the auspices of the Department of Environmental Systems Science (D-USYS).

Future research center "Agrovet-Strickhof"

The future education and research center „Agrovet-Strickhof“ will come into existence in Lindau. In this center ETH Zurich will work closely with the canton and the university of Zurich on projects at the interface of agriculture and veterinary theory and praxis. The start is planned for 2014.
