Three of the ten highly cited scientists working at ETH Zurich are professors at the Department of Environmental Systems Science: Professors Ulrike Lohmann, Sonia Seneviratne and Johan Six are “some of world’s most influential scientific minds”. The 2015 Highly Cited Researcher list focuses on contemporary research achievement and includes over 3000 scientists worldwide who have written the greatest number of highly cited papers in 2003-2013, ranking among the top 1% by citations for their subject field and year of publication in the Web of Science.
