Study Environmental Sciences
Understanding how the natural environment works
Protecting the environment, using resources sustainably and conserving them for future generations are among the biggest challenges facing humanity today. The study of Environmental Sciences focuses on exactly these subjects: researchers examine the effects of global warming, explore the options for protecting ecosystems and test out methods for preventing the spread of pollutants.
The Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in Environmental Sciences give students knowledge and understanding about how the natural environment works, and about the nature of the interactions between people and their living and non-living environments. Students learn how to use scientific methods to analyse environmental issues, find solutions for them and then evaluate and apply them.
