The Student Services team at ETH Zurich supports students in their day-to-day studies and with personal concerns through individual consultations. Topics can be:

  • Getting organised
  • Concentrated and motivated studying
  • Learning to study
  • Dealing with pressure and stress
  • Changing your course of study
  • Making decisions
  • Dealing with exam failure
  • Personal stress situation
  • Discrimination, sexual harassment, bullying, threats and violence

Student advisory service, curriculum planning and questions regarding prgramme regulations:

Offers help with personal and study-related problems, regardless of the degree programme. This may include issues such as:

  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Relationship or family issues
  • Dealing with stress
  • Cultural integration
  • Anxiety and pressure during exams
  • Writing technique
  • Counselling regarding psychotherapy
  • Crisis intervention

No matter what it's about – at Nightline Zurich, students can make anonymous phone calls or have an online chat. The Nightline is run on a voluntary basis by students from a wide range of Zurich universities, disciplines and semesters. Anonymity on both sides is guaranteed. Financial Aid

The team of the Financial Aid Office advises students on issues relating to financing their studies. It handles applications for ETH scholarships and loans as well as requests for contributions to travel costs. It is also responsible for checking and processing requests for special scholarships and study contributions from various funds and foundations for which special terms and conditions apply. Housing

All students and employees of University and ETH Zurich can use the services of the Housing Office. You can place adverts for rooms, apartments or houses which are located in Zurich and its surroundings. The accommodation can be furnished or unfurnished and it can be available temporarily or open-​ended.
