Events during studies
Dates that apply to all ETH students, such as semester dates, holidays, and registration deadlines, can be found on the student portal. Below you will find events organized specifically for D-USYS students.
Welcome Event
The first semester students of the Bachelor in Agricultural Sciences are welcomed by the Director of Studies and the teaching team on 16 September 2024, 09:00, in the main building of ETH Zurich. The welcome event will be held jointly with the Environmental Sciences programme.

Agro-Weekend
During the first week of the semester, an Agricultural Sciences Introductory Weekend will be held on 20-21 September 2024. The Agro-Weekend is mandatory for all new entering students of the Agricultural Sciences programme.
Agro-Day I
The students present central aspects of their placement by means of a poster presentation. They discuss this with students and lecturers in the field of Agricultural Sciences. The next Agro Day I will take place on 5 November 24, 13:15-16:30 in the LFW building of ETH Zurich.
Welcome Event for Master and Exchange Students
Master and exchange students of Agricultural Sciences will be welcomed by the study coordinator. An invitation letter will be sent by e-mail about 2 weeks before.

The master students present central aspects of their placement by means of a poster presentation. They discuss this with students and lecturers in the field of Agricultural Sciences.

BEST-Weekend
The "Bachelor Erstsemestrigentage" (BEST) weekend event is compulsory for students who have just begun their Bachelor's studies
Information event on the specialisations
For students from the 3rd semester onwards, there is an information event in September on the specialisations, the study exchange programmes and the course structure.
Master-Information event
29 February 2024, 18:15-20:00, green floor CHN
This event provides information about the various majors in the Master's degree programme, the professional internship, the teaching certificate and the graduate survey.
Welcome Event
On the first Monday of the new semester, all master students who are new to D-USYS will get-together with Major representatives and academic staff.

Information event on the compulsory internship
The Internship Coordinator organises an information event on the compulsory internship in the Master’s degree programme. After an introduction with general information on the compulsory internship, some students report on their personal experience from their internship. Students will be informed of the date of the event by email.
Graduation ceremony 2023

The Graduation ceremony will take place in Audimax Main Building.
